Phew
I didn't want to be the first one to bring up a dead thread!
Where do I start
1. I own #216 with a bad stem
1.A I think I counteracted the valve core. Hear me out
I backed the hpr, and kept the lpr high like Hans said, and I went to ace hardware to pick up plasti dip, but I also wanted to check out other springs.
My theory is if you have a stronger spring holding it in snugly into the valve seat, it won't matter how imperfect the middle of the stem is, because the spring is pushing the head of the stem to complete flush with the seat
THE PART is spring # 153, at my local ace store in Indiana
, and so far,
ITS WORKING, cycling and no leaks!!! I need more air though, as I have less than a 500 psi and it's not at full speed I will send pictures tomorrow!!!
I have thought of other solutions, like fabricating a small ring inside the seat where it welcomes the head of the stem, and place a flat o-ring, just would have to find away to make it ribbed to hold it In position
1.B Keith said that GOG is looking to come in contact with valve cores in the near future!
2. Now that the valve core problem is gone, I have to figure out why the eyes aren't working!!! No debris in the chamber, and it still cycles
Does GOG have eye's? DLX? I'm desperate for eyes!!! Or eye solutions!
