Like I said before, the ranking for this first event is a little looser to ensure we have enough teams sign up. I don't want to see everyone disappointed if we have to cancel due to lack of teams. Assuming this event goes well, which I'm sure it will, I'll start to tighten up classes once I see what type of demographic comes out. As Jamison mentioned, D3 and below is still the nationally recognized rookie class so I don't feel calling this rookie is too out of line.
I know some people were worried that CRU is putting in a team, but if you look at their roster from the last event, Plonka is the only D3 guy they have, the rest are D4 and beginner. APPA rankings don't lie, whatever they're ranked they're ranked. Those guys obviously bust their *** every week to be able to take home gold, but due to their rankings from the APPA I feel comfortable letting them play. The opportunity to comepete against an accomplished squad like that is a great chance to get better
No, I agree with everything being done here. I would just hate to see some of the teams I see talking about signing up enter the tournament just to chip into the pot, that's all. I'm sure the tournament will go smooth and it is great to see tournaments again on the east side of the state again.

Fairenuff, where is C from P&P been? Is he still around or did he vanish completely? I haven't played with him since the indoor in Detroit closed, or even a while before that.
