Major Nationwide Fall Promotion/Fundraising Opportunity

Gentlemen (and ladies), we have something we would like your help with this fall.

For 4-5 weeks during September and October, we are going to be involved in a nation-wide effort to promote paintball to the general public. This effort will involve having booths on the weekend at public places with high foot traffic, anywhere from 5,000 to 20,000 people per day.

Everything you need will be provided; we just need people to man the booths for the weekend, and perhaps do some basic setup/takedown. You'll be explaining paintball to people, showing them the equipment, and operating a small reball shooting range. All the activities will be very, very easy, but you'll also get a training video so you'll know exactly what to do.

Virtually every school should have at least one location within 50 miles that they can help with, and you may have up to 10 different locations available to you within that distance, although you are welcome to pick up locations further away if you are interested.

What do you need?

We'd like your club to provide 3-4 people per day per location. You're welcome to switch people out during the day if you'd like. Of course, wear your team jersey or club T-Shirts. The people helping don't need to be tournament players; they can be anyone who has a basic knowledge of paintball and is willing to help out.

What do you get?

Most importantly, you get the opportunity to promote college paintball, your club and team, and your school. This is a great way to show value to your school when you go to look for funds, and show value to your sponsors - you'll be reaching out to new players directly, which is extremely important.

If you are not sufficiently motivated by good will and funding/sponsor potential, we will also be giving participating teams additional incentives - most likely cases of paint you can use at practice or tournaments, so this doubles as an immediate fundraiser as well.

You can also work with your local field(s) to promote them as well; give out information, discount coupons, etc, so that's another opportunity to bring value to your program.

More details will be available in the near future. What I need to figure out now is what teams would be interested in this program. If this sounds like something your program would do, please email us as soon as possible (by Friday, June 10 would be great) at ncpa@college-paintball.com. Don't worry if you're not 100% sure; we won't be deciding final locations for a bit, but we want to get a handle on areas where we can be helpful.

Please include:
- Name of your school
- Your zip code (for the school)
- Contact information for your club leadership for the next school year
- Number of people who can help out at one time
- Number of miles you're willing to travel to get to a location.

This is going to be a very awesome promotion that you won't want to miss out on, so please let us know ASAP if your team is interested in participating!

- Chris

UCF should be in on this. Once we get everything squared away we'll send an email.
