X-Men: First Class - 7/10
It was good, better than Pirates 4 and definitely better than X3 and Wolverine. I really liked their Magneto and Xavier choices.

Nothing particularly new, but it made me laugh and wasn't a bad way to spend a Saturday night.

Wasn't funny. Felt lacking and drawn out.

the collector - 7.5
The collector is about an exterminator mad man who hates ****ing everyone except bugs. He manages to take over a familys house and booby trap the entire thing with razor wire and scissor catapults.
you can sit and nit pick at all the plot holes and unlogical things in this movie (he hijacks a house and sets extensive booby traps in a matter of hours) but it wasnt made for that. the director did the last couple of saws... obviously the movie was just meant to be a psychological and gruesome thrill ride. It did this well, i was staring wide eyed and gripping my beer tight in hand at some of the more gruesome scenes such as the fingerslicing and fish hooks. This is one of the better "recent" horror flicks ive seen in a while just for the fact that it was gorey and the pace was quick.
Again if you're the type of person who cant sit through a horror movie without picking through every illogical sequence dont watch this. Its a 2/10 if you look at it like that. Other than that... quite ****ing entertaining.

TMC or Showtime ondemand i forget. If you dont have ondemand for either im sure they will be showing it on their regular schedule for atleast the rest of the week.
Im gonna be stuck on horror flicks for a while now :/
Trick r Treat - 5 (Netflix)
4 or 5 intertwined Halloween stories. Wasn't scary but it kept my attention. It seemed like they kind of tryed to cram too much into this one. I didnt feel like all the stories were developed to their full potential. It kind of just would introduce some bad guys and then continue on the next story and not really touch on the last. They also dont explain the "main" kid/pumpkin**** Sam at all, we know nothing about him.

Pirates 4 - 7.5/10
I liked it. I mean, it's Pirates and it's hard to not like the feel of it and all. Plus the girl is super fine. I kinda missed the action of some of the others though.

127 Hours- 9/10
at first i didn't want to see this movie because i thought they would get right to the point and make me not give a damn about the main character. though i must say, adding the flashbacks and his delusions really made the movie. to Franco on his performance. now i see why he was an oscar nominee.
Taken- 8.5/10
liam neeson kicking *** and being a bamf. this movie never gets old to me no matter how many times i see it.

Super 8 - 9.9/10
It was one of the best put together movies i've ever seen. All the stories came together so well. The relationships were extremely convincing, and like the guy above me said, those kids could act. I loved it.

Super 8, gonna say a 9.5, I loved it! Not many movies make me feel like I'm watching E.T. or Indiana Jones for the first time, but that one did!

The first half or so was really bad but it improved pretty significantly in the second half. Not a lot of great jokes but still a fun movie.

Super 8, it was amazing. i saw a few traces of E.T. in it, but besides that and what seemed like a ending that took 30 seconds to write, this movie was amazing. in a number, its a 9.5/10. it was like a revamped indie movie, with Steve Spielberg as its producer. not going to do a whole review, through and through, but it was, in my honest opinion, was the best movie of 2011, so far. much much better than the newest Pirates of the Caribbean, which was good but no he best. so go see Super 8. now. i mean it, go. now.
