A little thought entered my little head....

I got to thinking the other day when some people said they weren’t here a year ago for Aidan's DOB contest. It made me think that a lot of the people on here only know AKA for their Vikings, Excaliburs and maybe Merlins. AKA did and still does a lot of upgrades for other guns. I looked through the archives and came across these pages. A lot of these products are still available!!
Enjoy,
Dan

No VLM's? And didn't AKA make a "Works" autococker?

I added the Merlins and VLM's. Not much info on the VLM's, just some pix.

The Works was originally based on the AKA body but built by Chipley.

Wish there was some VLM info, but I assume there isn't much to them. Thansk for the links, lots of fun stuff in there.

Did anyone ever buy a black widow autococker? $1300 for a stock body autococker with just a bunch of aftermarket parts is amazing.

Cool, I didn't know that Chipley built the AKA "Works" cocker, good to know. Now all I need to know is what VLM stands for... And then think of something else to ask you. And I must admit, I too would like to see one of the AKA Angels...

*Edit*

One reaon the Automag might only have "short to medium range" is the size of the barrel... It's different, but 3 inches won't get you very far in life.

In the automag page:
"Being a blow forward gun it is a short to medium range gun."

VLM stands for Vertical Loading Marker or something close to that. I always wanted a Black Widow Spyder too. A little too far out of my price range back then. I guess that's why I have a BLM with every upgrade under the Spyder section. All that's left is WGP Reg Adjuster, just haven't been able to force myself to pay the $50 dollar price tag that AKA still has for them on the site.

I honestly couldn't tell you what body they used. But there was a green "Works" cocker for sale not too long ago and it had AKA and a serial number on it so I assumed it was made by AKA.

Other than that I have no idea. I would say probably a Merlin body though.
