Shocker SFT wont shoot solenoid problems

I just picked up this shocker and now the solenoid wont click. the guns was clicking when i bought it but after I took it apart and cleaned it the solenoid wont click. Now here is the confusing part, the solenoid will click if I have the grip frame tilted on the right angle but once I tighten the screws down it stops working. i have a fresh battery in it and the gun was shooting before i cleaned it. thanks for your help and if anyone knows where to get a vertical reg adapter please link me.

  • Try another battery. This one could be defective.
  • Check the wiring harness for damage, (the wires connecting the upper and lower board)
  • Check the wiring harness connection to make sure it's no damaged as well.
  • Check the upper board for damage. Sometimes grip screws will dig in too deep and damage it.

Lastly, is the Shocker bible and will have all your fixes

Open the grips, turn it on and wiggle the wire harness around while pulling the trigger if it starts clicking while wiggling replace the wire harness.
Also inspect the battery harness for frayed or damaged wires.

Either there's damage to the upper board/solenoid, the wire harness, or one of the 10 pin ports.
