Will a stock geo board work in a 08 ego

tried it a few months back, the geo board is longer and wont clear the noid

Why would you even want to make your gun work incorrectly? Even if a geo board could fit in your frame, it's not designed to work on an ego. Might as well try to fit a Matrix board in your ego.

What do you mean not designed to work? If it fit and everything was in the right location it should work fine. (stock settings changed of course). Edit: 09 noids are different, that might effect something.

The reason I asked is cuz I just got a gun off trade and it has a tadoa board I want an led board and I saw a geo board just didn't know if it was the same

What would ever make you think a board designed for a spool gun (geo) would work in a poppit like a ego. They are completely different.

Well they came out the around the same yr and to keep cost down y redesign another board when they can flash the programs onto them and in reality it prob has the same settings just different numbers

This comming straight from 7lash a few threads below you. "During the prototyping stages of Geo2 we used Ego10 boards with dual-boot capabilities for our pro teams so that we could quickly swap boards between different guns in the pits." A poppet and a spool can have the same board...... The only thing I see different is the stock settings that would affect anything. Stop being so ignorant.

Dual Boot as in the board is physically the same but it runs the ego10 and geo2 OS. Take a second and think about what you're talking about. Setting an ego10 board up with a geo2's dwell is not the same as using a geo2 board.

Uziel Gal already said a geo board can be a fix for an 08 ego. (short term) It would work. And if you know about a geo 2 and ego 10 board not being interchangable please explain why.
