Just completed the Vice desk and holy ****, I'm even more drawn in now after that last case. Can't believe that you'd be cheating on your wife. I mean, obviously Cole knows he isn't as big as hero as he's made out to be. His men know it. If you seen the one newspaper then you'd know that Roy is the one who told them about your affair. This is getting interesting. I'd like a nice shot at Roy.

Yeah I'm digging it. I only had a bit of time last week to play it so I'm on the last of the BD stuff I think (the one starting w/ the train tracks) and I've been enjoying it. I really dig the idea of being on the other side of things and being the cop this time.

Interrogation can range from easy to "WTF are you some kind of professional poker face person?" so it's always interesting in interrogations.

Story line is complete. I was not disappointed at all in buying this game. Now on to finish off the side missions.

I just finished the second disc and game is alright.... WAY too repetitive but I kind of expected that. I get tired of slowly walking around a crime scene picking up cups and ****. Sometimes I skip a lot of stuff that I know aren't real clues (random bottles), but most of the time I HAVE. TO. CHECK. EVERY. CLUE. because I am anal about that kind of stuff.

Interrogations are a lot of fun and challenging most of the time.

One thing I have not figured out though: On the side missions, what do they mean by "Subdue or apprehend the suspect"? Most of the time I just end up unloading a clip into their chest because there is a severe lack of shooting people in the game. But for once I would like to cuff the guy. So is there a way to do this?

Overall I would give it a 7/10. There are a lot of things I like about this game over GTA but also a LOT of things I don't like. NEEDS MORE SHOOTING, but on the other hand it seems more "real" than GTA.

If your in a gunfight then the only way to stop him is to shoot and kill. If he is just fleeing/running away, if you chase him long enough, you'll get in close enough range to attempt a tackle (tapping A on the 360).

Not to mention occasionally you can pull your gun, and line it up on them without firing, and you'll see a timer appear. If you can keep it lined up, and close enough to them, for a few moments they'll surrender.

I'm really interested in playing this game, I love what I've seen about the concept etc etc

My only question is, should I bother buying it, or is it just a rental? Not sure if I'd be interested in paying the likely 1200 ms pts for each new DLC

DLC will probably be less than that since it's case based unless it's a bundle.

Having said that. It's up to you. It's fairly long from what I can tell, and there's side stuff, exploring, etc, to do so if you enjoy that stuff randomly after you beat the main game you'll dig it.

I bought it, and I don't regret it.

For reference, I had a little over 18 hours worth of game play when I completed the game. That was with doing under 10 side missions and not searching for hidden cars often/other easter eggs.

Just rent it. I can't see it having nearly the same replay value as other games such as GTA. When the game is over, you cant do around killing random people and stuff like GTA. I still pick up GTA on occasion and just run around aimlessly.

On another note I usually only buy games if they have a large multiplayer platform soooo.... yeah. $60 is a lot of money for a game you will beat in a few days.
