Go for the ego or the clone.
Ego because as someone already stated they have parts everywhere, but parts have never been a problem for me because you can just buy them online.
The Ego is also very reliable.
The clone is a great gun (Have one). I prefer the GT over the VX, but there is like a $900 difference.
Pro tip : Most-to-all high end markers are built for looks. Sure they have better parts and are more efficient.

Wait what ? If this is for the above, they are both inline poppets, try them both, choose according. the axe is not for everyone, while they are both good guns, the axe might not feel well in your hands, and it can be costly for you to make it easier and better to handle/program,

Like others have said, decide on poppet or spool. Also price range should be taken into consideration. Around the $150 range, in my opinion, the Azodin Blitz is the way to go. The PE Etha would be another good option because of the price, reliability, and customer service, BUT I have heard of recent issues with them. Used egos you can't go wrong with. I can find some for around $250-$400 I'm just trying to throw some options at you with my input. Axes are fine, as well as a good used Invert Mini. Your budget is reallyimportant to make a good decision.

My buddy has also owned one for a few years. I haven't personally used it but he seems to like it. Solid marker from what i've heard.

Best Gun under $300 US
Hey all,
Played paintball for the first time last weekend and I am hooked. I am looking to buy a new gun for all types of games (woodsball/speedball) Which gun has the most bang for the buck at $300. Thanks!

I've been looking into a few guns recently, hoping to not spend too much. Wondering what the difference would be between getting a ego 7 or an axe vs a cheaper gun such as the mini, rail, or ep1?
