The Luxe 1.5 is not very different from a Luxe 1.0. I would get the G6R.

The luxe isnt an upgrade from a g6r
Its just more expensive, the only advantage the luxe has is a smoother shot
G6r is far more efficient, lighter, more reliable, has a better company with better customer service backing it, and still costs less.

over all i personally would go for the mini

the pmr is better than the mini for manny reasons but the pm8 is 100 times better than the mini the difference between the pmr8 and the pm8 is the pm8 is a dm9 that says proto the pmr8 has different everything (asa, barrel, no ul grip, board, bolt, inline reg)

That is your choice. A luxe is a spool valve marker, so it will have smoother shot and with be quieter, yet less air efficient. The victory will be more air efficient, you have a little more kick and be louder.

keep the g6r it beats ego in every category including kick and loudness...

ok guys im not a new player but i need some help on picking a gun for my bro (not new but wants to get a better marker)
i will have 260 in my paypal to spend on said marker what would you guys look for.

You could get any nmber of old high ends. Or a used Techt'ed G3/4. A used Mini, Proto, etc. I'd ask him and see what he likes. Nice of you to buy a gun for him btw.

it is actually his money from the sell of a few of his old gear items.. i am kinda looking at dm6, pm7, mini, etek, ego, maybe get a marq cheap timmy. he has had a mini,pmr (4 or 5 of these) a couple cockers, a g3 (hated it)

You could get a Marq 6 or 7 for that if you watch the BST. I actually had a Marq 7 offered to me for $250 but I ended up with a Threshold. I'd look into those. They are VERY nice looking guns and have a great rep for a reason. Also, you can't go wrong with Bob Long.

I'm looking to get a local used marker, which is best for the price?
$650- SL74
$350- ETEK 3 LT (ONLY gun, no box etc)
$600- DM8 (comes w/rotor & steelie tank)
$250 ANS autococker gx-4

650 is way to much for the sl, more in the 450-525 range. 600 is way too much for a dm8 even with the rotor and tank. 400 is fair for a dm8, 100 for a used rotor, 30 for a used steelie

350 is not terrible for an etek3

The cocker is worth what someone will pay, i have trouble pricing cockers because they are becoming difficult to sell.

i own personally right now a vice and a marq 7 i am looking into the marqs for him also i know bob long guns very well

get the axe. dangerous power has been a let down for me and many others. nothing but days of fixing markers. when they were great but usually they don't

250 for the cocker isn't too bad being a gx-4
dm8 no look more like 500 with the rotor and steelie for a good deal
etek3 lt that is a little high on it not to bad though
sl74 way high on it i see sl8r and better going for that

I love DP, with the exception of the FX. The board isn't that great and there are problems with the factory detents. I'm not a fan of the Axe either but I wouldn't buy an FX.

Also I have a guitar I bought for $300 and someone wants to trade a BT Tm-15 in mint condition with halo v35 pod pack and tank line for it so that's another option

for 260 look for used Quests, MArqs, and dms
