problem with nt11

Ok I currently have a problem with 6 nt11's. They all have brand new batteries, brand new, green flow insert chronoed at 300fps,no spacers.

Problem:
One or two balls shoot fine, as soon as a stream of paint is shot the bolt stays forward and doesn't return thus stops shooting. When this occurs the gun won't fire until you force it to fire by holding in the trigger.

Are you using the proper lube? Dow55 will cause the o-rings to swell maybe causing your bolt o-ring to get caught in the eye pipe? Just an idea, never heard of this happening before.

Also check your bolt bumper o-ring. They may be worn and causing the bolt to get stuck forward by allowing the bolt to travel a bit to far forward.

yeah the dye slick, its seems like not enough pressure, lik the bolt would extend return half way and shoot forward again with eyes off

Are your properly lubing the o-rings on the propshaft?(i think that's what its called lol) It's the o-rings that the slide into the bolt from when it slides back. Maybe its the o-ring inside the can. Something may be causing drag or not enough back pressure. Definitely check your operating pressure.

try changing the oring on the front of your bolt to one size smaller. I think its a #14 try #13.

Also you can shave down your bumper like shown below. Make sure the brown bumper is lower than the metal lip right next to it.

orange one should be the updated one according to the thread. Mine is the older one that I shaved a while back. Put up your pics in this thread and the other one so people can search for it.

Someone elses "new" orange bumper

our team also got a shipment from Dye (we train on the same field so i know these guys and these markers too)

i know with our markers, the issues we had was the front 010 purple spool oring needed to be replaced on 5 markers, and 3 of them had too much lube from factory in the spool chamber, causing it to stick.

this though, i cant seem to figure out...

i would maybe say try putting in a spacer, to raise the pressure. Might be a temporary fix, but at least it will give you time to figure it out...

also, maybe check the reg shims, maybe they off or something or your reg isnt outputting enough pressure? maybe try putting the noids in an NT10 or a working NT11 and see if that makes a difference? all just suggestions, but it might help you figure it out

I was having the same issue with my NT11 as of recently.

Switch the bolt tip out to an 013 and see if that helps. Make sure you have the new bumper as well or sand down/cut the old one. Try switching out the 015 on the bolt (the red one) to another one. Also try increasing your reg pressure a little bit and see if that helps. I changed out my 015 because it really added a lot of drag to my bolt and that seemed to help. Check your spool o rings too.

^^hahaha

yes if u make our team

I have changed all bumpers of the guns to the orange bumper, the flatter with slant ones. all are working fine, they still have a little drag ( return slower) but they shoot one is still so tempermental, it shoots 2 hoppers perfectly fine, then the issue starts, i have changed the blue oring on the plunger, checked the orings on the spool but i havnt changed the bolt tip (blue) oring yet.

any suggestions?

James, speak to Troy he knows the issue, all the Reaper guns did the same thing and almost every other NT11 that has entered SA.

Hey guys. Having a similar issue with my nt11. I have changed all the o rings and will have to try the bolt tip to a 13. I have the new orange bumper o ring installed, my dwell at 11, red bolt tip and green bolt insert. No spacers. I can put about 1/2 through it without any issues and then I start having the bolt stick issues. Basically, the bolt isn't retracting all the way back. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm thinking its the blue seal oring on the plunger, but I've changed that oring twice. Thanks!
