i feel ya there. i have big hands and the axe does feel better. but those v3 minis are great little shooters.

My personal opinion is that the axe is superior.
That being said, disregard my opinion but know this. In paintball, you almost always get what you pay for. I, and many others, were willing to pay extra to get the axe's improvements over the mini.
But then again, this thread was started almost 3 months ago, so why does this comment matter eh?

axe you can't go wrong. Its super light with a 45 4500 and last weekend I was shooting 4 pods and a hopper everygame and still had about 500 psi from a stock untuned axe. Its pretty freaking sick. You won't regret it I can tell you that.

They don't get free Guns they get discounts. But they try to use different guns though. And the mini isn't terrible so why not use it

Granted. I should have stated that pro player are usually Contractually required to shoot a particular Marker. paid for or not. Thanks to Empire, The team aquired 4 G6R's for $650 each.

I am sure that everyone can agree that you will have the best of luck with the axe, in the past I've had lots of problems with the mini. If you do chose the mini I would recommend that you buy the empire relay ASA. This will help de-gas your gun and save threads on your tank, considering each time you want to gas or de-gas your gun you have to unscrew your tank. Also if you have extra cash, and have already bought a nice hopper and compressed air tank, I recommend that you upgrade your stock barrel into a 14 in. Custom Products makes an exceptional barrel for 60$ great barrel. If you do decide to get a new barrel, you need to get it for Autococker threads or it will not screw into your gun. You can get whatever Bore size you want but I would recommend you either get a .679 or .691 as this should be hte correct bore for most such as RPS, Diablo, and Draxxus. Best of luck and I hope this helps your decision.

Axe is better but not 200$ better. It does have an on off Asa which is nice. But I have an mini and upgraded almost every part of it and in in end it was cheaper than the axe, and has better features then the axe.

mini is a staple marker, its your average reliable(not) gun. axe however is about three clicks higher, axe is more effeciant, and doesnt have that annoying macho line

I initially wanted to axe, but got a mini instead, got the on off asa and upgraded my feedneck and barrel, set the trigger for my liking and this gun I amazing.. I love it, don't get me wrong it's no Lux or Dm12.. But for the price it cannot be beat.
