This tourney just to give some of the local guys a chance to play. Some of them have a hard time driving 4-6 hrs to go play.

In an effort to get more beginner teams involved. See the additional eligibility belwo.

A beginner team may have 1 (one) D4 player or 1 (one) player with more than 5 tournament experience on their team.

so far about 4 between the two divisions, more supposedly. I don't count them until registration/entry is received. Everyone trys waiting to see who is going to play, til they all wait too late.

Splatzone will be sending 1-2 teams to play in the event

Alabama would have sent more teams to support you guys but the tornado really has us.........cant even think of the right word.....anyway, some of us are still coming to try and get a day that feels normal!!!

The tornado crushed the 3 towns around us with paintball fields; Tuscaloosa, cullman, and hanceville...........paintball wont be the same in tuscaloosa for a while....two of our team members lost everything....

No. I played D4 in world cup 09. That's the last major tourney that I played. My son is 12 though and the other guy has never player a tournament.

I don't do the guess work anymore , I count only teams having sent in entrys.

As of this email 1 beginner team entry received, no experienced teams received. It's up to players if they want local tournaments.

If we have required team entrys in by this wednesday, we do it, if not I'm on the houseboat Sunday.

Player committment has always been the issue with tournament ball in Ms.

Beginner teams:
1-2(?) from Al (check on way supposedly)
Jxn - 2 teams
Redemptiion - payment received
Red, White and Blue check on the way
Minh Tran - (?)

Experienced
- no entries received as of yet
2 teams (Kamilu team) and JA and group

I'll let all know come wednesday pm, if tournament is a no go all funds returned.
