WAS finally acting up
i knew it coming, and i am not too upset about it. My WAS board has lost the ability to hold its dwell settings. the tourney lock is off, battery is fresh, and the gun will shoot- but not very smoothly. the question for me now is do i just buy a replacement board, or do i go with a UTB?
any productive thoughts appreciated

Pick up one of those inoviq boards from critical if they have any. It's a really great board, really easy to use.
I dont know about replacements and such, good luck though man.

I like APE boards if APE have any left.
Whichever you happen to choose, going with a Quest specific board strikes me as being less fuss that doing a custom installation with a UTB.

yea inoviq all the way. You might want to try to contact them through their site, because if they have any left you can get the board, harness and eyes for about 1/3 of what critical wants you to pay. I did that a while ago, and Nick said he didnt have many left.

You would most likely need to buy direct from APE - they don't have many distributors.

APE sells them direct off their website. I think last time I was on there they had about 50 left. I was thinking of picking up an extra just for a case like this.

Whitey - apologies. I didn't see your response prior to stating that you need to go to APE for their boards. Got an e-mail notification regarding a later post in this thread, but not for your post.
