gotta say it...welcome to sports. Every sport deals with fans/crowd noise and coaching, but it's ultimately the players decision what to do and who to listen to.

Congrats to Tennessee, after playing a full season against these guys (as well as Liberty) I knew the SEC was going to have a solid showing at Nationals.
Proud to say I'm on one of only two teams to beat these guys all season.
They had an incredible year and have only gotten better as the year went on.

Also, after playing a full season against these guys I believe this, lol, those moms are pretty emotional about their kids.

Yeah she seemed really pissed that I was "counter-coaching" even though 50+ people on the Cal State side of the field were counter coaching CSLB...

I personally think it sucks to counter coach, fake buzzer sounds, scream and make annoying sounds to try and confuse. It take away from the joy of victory of the team who wins because people will always say "what would've happen if all that nonsense never happen?"

I can vouch that trying to coach CSULB in the finals sucked. I can understand that you guys want to counter coach, but when I started getting physically pushed around and screamed at during and between points it was more than a bit aggravating. IMO it was extremely irresponsible on the leagues part to let that kind of behavior go down unsupervised and unpunished. We're all just out there because we love paintball and have fun playing it, I dont see why we need to pick fights and force enemies...

Hey thanks to everyone who was supporting LB out there. We understand there's some favoritism out there especially since we don't come from a conference, but honestly, we aren't looking for drama. Most of the teams we met and hung out with at this event and those before will say that we're all chill guys who love paintball. If you're really that pissed about a West Coast team possibly winning "your" tournament, practice more and beat us in Finals instead of ruining an otherwise excellent match. Tennessee, I know you guys would rather have beaten us without the coaching

i don't think coaching should be allowed during games. (i being a small time baller from mt) it takes a large part of the on field decision making out of the game. plus counter coaching is just cheesy and unprofessional. you obviously don't have confidence your team can beat it's opponent without you trying to **** with the other team. ya anyone is allowed to do it but nonetheless it obviously creates unwanted tension and drama that paintball can do without. take coaching out and let the players do the their own on the field thinking and communicating... the only way to make it 100% fair for each team. that being said, that finals match was some of the sickest paintball i've ever had the pleasure to watch. two great teams playing their ***** off

A big, big to all the teams that competed in the Class A divison. I witnessed some really good paintball. There were some beatdowns, and some sick comebacks. I really hope i have ther privealge of reffing again next year. Props to all the teams.

counter coaching stinks but there is no way to enforce it. how are you going to keep people on the outside of the net that are part of other teams from saying anything? the only way is to have no one watch and i dont think that will ever happen.

TN seemed to be moving pretty fast and didnt seem to heavily rely on coaching, and just played smashmouth paintball in the end. Congrats to both teams, youve certainly got talent on the team

All games have coaches and coaching, it's part of the game. Paintball is moving from cops n' robbers in the woods to a legitimate sport. I wish people would stop fighting it every step of the way.

I dont think any teams in the finals have anything to be ashamed about, in my opinion every team in the finals completely deserved to be there. There werent many upsets at all this tournament. Great playing everyone and I look forward to seeing you all next year! I also just want to add that paintball is a competitive sport, Ive been playing for 8 years and one thing i have realized is that people are completely different on and off the field. I love talking to and meeting new people off the field but when it comes down to it we are here to shoot each other, there isn't much friendliness in that, people just need to learn how to separate business and pleasure.
