NPPL HB seem small this year?
Granted i havnt played in an event since 2008 and havnt been to one since...well 2008. But I was really disappointed when I made the trip out to this one. The games themselves were great, I like the new monitoring software (even if virtue does suck).
But the entire venue just seemed SO SMALL, I mean last time I went EVERYONE was out there, I didnt even see a Dye booth, and eclipse usually has the biggest tent of all and they had next to squat.
Has the sport really been hit that hard?

there were less teams this year(i think) and for the dye booth, they are not a sponsor of the nppl, so you wouldnt see one.
and to your last question, yes haha.

It's not that the sport has been hit hard, I mean it has fallen from what it used to be due to economic changes but the NPPL itself has changed presidents and is coming back from a near bankruptcy. Someone correct me if my info is wrong but I believe that's why it's not what it used to be, not that it isn't growing back up again.

The webcast was **** in the first place. I wouldn't hold many opinions about the event based on any of the videos from it...
Then again I can't watch ESPN3 at home.. So I didn't see the "webcasts" per say.. but ****ty quality youtube recordings of the webcasts.

On my laptop, the quality was really good for live streaming, but it was like watching the community channel. The commercials were the same ones over and over again although the interviews were not bad. I just watched it for the paintball though.
