finally got some time to play around with the bolts
pulled the internals out, wiped off all the paint...
took out the v1 reg, put in the v2
lubed, gassed up and turned the velocity adjuster in and it sealed up
sounds really loud, and has a little kick
also... it wants to double shoot... 1 pull pop pop 2 shots
the VA is screwed in about .150" from flush

Went to chrono
Lp tank
Spire
689 bl assassins barrel
Turned it way down, got to 298 +/-2 with a random farty leaky like the spool was tryin to seal
V2 everything, new orings, sleek, no SSC bolt
Double shot went away
Guess I try and see the other bolts

notes:
A25 on the chart says "MEAN"
The SSC bolts DID NOT LEAK
The v2 bolt didnt want to seal at this pressure (about 295 fps on v2 bolt)
The nytralon bolt stuck into the firing can, i will retest the nytralon when i make another bolt (want to make it smaller to give me a little more breathing room on it, have a hunch it must be a little bigger than the rest)
When I was all done with testing the 3 bolts, I put the stock v2 back in, and it still leaked/didnt seal and was shooting about 290fps (so adjuster didnt move)

If the Asa comes freely, does that make the Asa a v2? Or does the pin need to be fully round with no milling? I don't have a lp tank so I need to know which version Asa I need to run with a standard 800 psi output? Please help

Well using the correct terminology will help greatly in this scenario. If the Asa knob comes out without needing to take a screw out then yes you have a V2 Asa.

the asa pin will come all the way out without the use of tools. The oring is also pretty large compared to the v1 oring (very very small oring).
The v2 oring looks to be a little bigger than a 012 oring where as the v1 oring was much smaller IF I REMEMBER RIGHT.

So that's all I need to know? If the knob screws out with taking a screw out then its a v2? It doesn't matter what the pin milling is?

its easy man, if you require NO TOOLS to take the knob out (just turn it until it falls out) then its a v2.
If you have to remove a set screw in order to remove the knob then its a v1 and you need a lp tank.

you sure you want one? Chances are the seller is overhyping the gun and it does not shoot or work as nice as they say

I want one for sure. I'm going to get a shooting video before I make a done deal. Any advices? And if you could, would you get one again?

id get one again for a good price... i dont think my luxe shoots any better than my rogue did. some of them are finicky with the reg pressure and others arnt. I never had the reg problems. The v1 i got to use was great, the v2 i owned chopped paint no matter what my eye settings where at.. the bolt was just rough on paint.
they are sick guns

I prob would.
Advice to give:
Get one with ALL V2 parts. Those were the best ones by far. This includes Asa, reg, bolt and detents. Look back a few pages to tell the difference between them.
Never use a ball end Allen key to turn up/down the velocity, the adjustment screw will get stripped.
Don't take it fully apart. It's not needed.
Light lubing like a standard spool.
Don't use stock barrel, it has terrible porting.
Don't pay over $400 for one. End of story.

I shouldn't get a v2 then? That's what I was planning on getting. I don't want to be chopping paint left and right.

I looked back at a page with pictures of the differences but that's where I got confused about the Asa pin. It was told that the pin was to be fully rounded not 2 sides milled down to give it a look of an oval. And how do I tell about the bolt? The pictures never showed the bolt. Just the reg. where can I get back up detents from?

no you need read better man
not all the guns where perfect is what we are saying, ALL Rogues are PROTOTYPE guns.
the v2 is your best shot at getting a perfect one.
ediT: specops knows what he is talking about, he was heavily involved with the rogue from the beginning.

The Rogue practically cured me of gun-hopping,
and I found an awesome "fit" for me with it.
When I shoot one, it's as if the guys on the
other team move into the path of the paint,
because I know I'm not that good of shot.
