What could it be?

I noticed now that when I fire a couple of shots in a row the regulator doesn't seem to keep up and the preassure drops and I have to stop firing and start again to let the regulator catch up. What could be the problem here?

It's the same on both CO2 and air and it doesn't seem to be the dwell.

Could be a dirty reg that needs to be cleaned, or the reg. seat is damaged and needs to be replaced

I agree, take apart the maxflow reg, rebuild it up, and to be on the safe side, dont crank the nut back in. IF you need help on disasembling the maxflow reg, its really simple, just take it apart and put it back the same way.
