I haven't posted on PBnation in ages but I find myself scrolling these threads more and more. Jimmy I'm always jelly of your equipment, how the hell do you afford all of it, it would take me ages to save up enough money just to buy one of your lenses probably.

I really don't like that room (civic). High ceilings, cream/brown color, and pretty spacey. You guys were upstairs I guess?
I shot a country show thing there and I'm shooting prom there on May 21 (hopefully I don't get delayed on the plane)
Oh, and I played adult league basketball with the DJ there (Zink shirt). lol. He's a pretty cool guy.

haha thanks man, paid for most of it through photography itself. With the exception of a few things, which was paid for out of my college fund as a piece of equipment needed for school.

Yeah...wasn't that incredible but a sorta nice place to just enjoy prom. the photographer there was a squid saw my 1dIV and was like "I've heard of those before" and was using a simple one light, above camera set up. Wasn't impressed and didn't want to waste my time or thought talking with him. haha

haha, my wife is starting to get mad at me because I keep talking to her how I'm gonna have prom setup.
White lighting with Giant softbox as main just camera right. AB800 w/reflector onto background from right. And lumopro as hair light off to the left.
Seamless BG. Very minimal but good for portraits. ripping off this idea:

lol, @ him not being to curious or knowledgeable about xd series. I sometimes think I would want one for the minimal amount that I do sports but I'm pretty satisfied with having a 5d and 60d. 5d portraits/landscape, 60d as backup/video.
Just got done filming the senior slideshow opening scene. Hopefully it edits well together and is a good thing for them. Some kids went all out and two girls actually dressed up as batgirl(s) for the superhero theme we were doing. lol

Made a new portfolio, one for extreme sports, separated traditional from extreme, not sure if I should put this one in. Also made a new website just for my portrait work

Can anyone identify what magazine this is? I don't think it is X3, due to them not printing ****, and I don't know if it is APG, because they never contacted me about using these images...either way I am sick of my **** being stolen.

That sucks out loud man. Photography is alot like real estate. People have absolutely no respect for, or concept of how much work it takes to be worth a crap.

Scroll down under "Features" and youll see

Pretty convincing that it might have been APG. At least in my opinion.

Also, upon further investigation if you look at the magazine to the right of the image, its the right edge of this cover upside down
