Way too much to update, but I will try my best haha
So after the initial Nike Football shoot, for their product release I was asked to come out for a second shoot, this time I was referred by the creative agency that hired me for the first shoot, to cover a running training program for Nike employees. Super simple, but it was at this shoot where I met my actual Nike Connections on their social media team. From there they liked my coverage of the training program and invited me to cover 2 different large Nike Running events. One for the Nike Cross Nationals, & one for the Border Clash (WA Vs OR). Both of these shoots had photos that ended up being used by the Nike Running Social Media accounts - Instagram, Twitter & Facebook. Pretty big honor to see that. Since then I did one more shoot with them, this time a lot more laid back, just a 2 day indoor treadmill class for the Nike Running Club. Event was fun, easy to shoot and uneventful. Only curveball was they wanted the photos in a 1x1 ratio haha
Overall working with Nike has really made me appreciate the company way more than I ever had. Considering Meatchubs, my roommate, works at one of their stores and has always been a fanboy, I never really got that. But they treat their employees really well, and treat their independent contractors like myself far better than any other company I have worked with.
Track Day Training - goal was just to capture the event for internal use & sharing by those who attended.
Border Cross Nationals - the race was so spread out & short that there was really only 3 shots that they wanted. Where the two states meet after starting in different corners, the final stretch and people who "Finished on empty"
1st & 2nd coming around the final corner
