Thats with air. Without air I understand the bolt is foward due to spring pressure. It protrudes approx 1/4" inch. That's why I had to cut the spring because it would not me to load a ball into the chamber.

I had to. Look at my picture, I machined the bolt according to the print provided and purchased the spring from rhino. If you count my coils my spring is longer than the pictures strange provided in the previous thread of the "spring mod v.2.

Strange's pictures with springs - I don't know what spring he used but i'm going to speculate rhinos. Sorry for the picture hijack, only using for reference.

I'm thinking you mill work on the bolt wasn't done deep enough on the back end. You should NEVER need to
Cut my spring!

your doing it wrong. the spring should be inside the bolt by 1.20" your picture clearly shows the spring only in maybe .25". Looks to me like you added the counterbore, but forgot to bore out the main cleance pocket.

Maybe so but I did it according to the print provided. I used a lathe to do the inside dimension work. Not saying anything bad, I'm just stating that I cut the spring to get it to work. I'm sure the spring tension is off now but marker shoots fine.

You're right. Whenever I have time I'll probably order another spring from rhino and bore it out again. The marker shoots fine as of now so I'll probably leave it alone.

If you have the v2 spring mod (especially with rhino's spring) yes. But Penguins fans can't do the v2 spring mod, it's not allowed.

Don't come anywhere near Philly with that attitude. Our fans will shower you with vomit and not care about getting arrested for it.

I had wondered that myself - wouldn't want any old vomit on my Rhino spring. Maybe Rhino vomit? I've never tested that for lubricity.....

When you guys degas your shocker does you bolt shoot back forward instantly? Mine will stay back until I just move my bolt guide then it will pop forward. Does that sound like a problem or normal?

Sounds like your a little too tight on your o-ring tolerances. Check the bolt sail and firing can o-rings.
