Not really confusing. I like seeing threads like these instead of the usual "GUYZZ ROTORS SUCK & CHOP BALZZZ!!11!"

I actually have all three(boss, techt, and lurker). I just got lurker in today and out of all three, I'll have to say that im liking lurker more. It's quieter and I was able to be at 120psi and dwell 2 shooting 165 +/- 6. I then went with the same settings and stock spring with boss and It did cycle fully. but when I brought the dwell up a little more I choped a ball or ball broke in the feedneck of the hopper(z2) currently dunno if it was the hopper or the bolt(i have had problems with the z2 where it would break in the hopper but when I went with the rotor, No problems.) I was shooting in my living room(not the greatest Idea lol) but when it sprayed paint I just stoped and decided not to continue. Ill mess with it some more later on when Im at the field or outside. Currently at a apt so no yard and its cold.

You should receive an email in an automated fashion from Paypal when it shipped. All our orders shipped today, so you should have it unless you ordered after 3pm or so. Also, non-US orders are shipped by hand so don't get the tracking.

Does the lurker come with a spring now?

I know you said last page (April of 2011) that you were working on them and they would be released shortly.

Thanks

We got the testers in, and it didn't have the effect we hoped - subjectively and objectively the stock spring seemed to do a better job. I haven't tested any springs HARDER than stock, though.

Fair enough. I'll just pick up the bolt then if the stock spring is good enough.

Thanks!

Can someone sticky this? Just to cut down on the amount of "what bolt should I buy" threads?

I went with the Boss Bolt XSV

The lurker is a nice bolt. I play with a few guys that have them, but they don't come with a spring kit.

Boss claims that the XSV and Infamous bolts are much more gentle since they were designed to shoot Ultra Evil. A revised bolt + Spring kit is what caught my attention. The V2 was a nice bolt, so the new XSV/Infamous must be a GREAT bolt.

I have not had experience with the boss or lurker bolts, but I can say that I've bought both the NDZ and MRT bolts, and both worked terribly on my gun. Terrible fits on the bolt guide from both bolts.

Oddly enough the MRT bolt works amazing on the bolt guide i got with my new accent kit, I would say that it probobly has comparable performance to the boss and lurker now that i've tuned it with the spring kit. Problem is that based on my experience and those of countless others, the chances of getting one of these bolts to fit properly are slim.

Based on that fact alone, and the fact that the boss and lurker have had overwhelmingly positive reviews and emphasis put on proper tolerances, I would say that the bolt race should be simply between these 2 bolts.

some sports make you put your balls in a basket, others over the fence, or a catchers mit. sometimes with a swift stroke,
you whack your balls over great distance to drop them down a hole...

personally, i stuck with the first sport that let me put my balls RIGHT IN YOUR FACE...

From all of the research I've been doing it seems that for the price and performance wise, the Boss Bolt is a worthy choice.

But to each their own!
