I had a great time yesterday good field, good bunkers, a lot of balls, and great people I will moast likely be coming back next week!

I'm going to try and make it next friday, but is there anything special I should know for reball that differs from paintball?

Other than your gun has to be set to 240 fps instead of the usual 290-300 fps - not really.

Did not know there was a place so close to my work in Lisle. I am not part of a speedball team and just got back into paintball this year. I would nice to get in practice so close to work.

I'd definately recommend a full gun cleaning and possibly even a hopper cleaning after reballing. The balls themselves are pretty clean but can still attract some of the small rubber particles that make up the field's "cushioning". This stuff can get caught up in the bolts of spoolies and poppits.

Just wondering is a Advanced Play session only for advanced players? Thinking of giving this a try. I would not have a team and first time playing this kind of ball.

It's targeted toward players with their own equipment and some experience, I don't have a team and have little experience in speedball also, but I should be there this Friday

OK. At least I have my own equipment. Might try going on a normal day first then.

I'd just go man, gotta get better/learn somehow. I played airball/speedball for the first time this summer at CPX sunday morning team practices. I got my **** owned every time I played but the experience and learning curve is coming along.

OK might give it a try. Watching video's from the championship the other week. I need to learn how to move a lot faster! Got a friend that lives close to this place that does paint ball. He might come in the future.

The idea of advanced open is to give more aggressive players a more challenging session rather than just owning a bunch of kids for two hours. If you go to regular open and play, ask a ref if they think you can hang in advanced open and they'll tell you. If advanced stays busy enough, I will probably start being a little choosy about who plays in it. If I see someone who clearly is out of his element and isn't being competitive, I will likely nicely recommend regular open play until I feel like they are bringing a challenge to advanced. There are always kids with their own gear at regular open, having your own stuff does not necessarily mean you are an advanced player.

Hey I have a geo2 with a rotor haven't gone paintballing with reballs should I try it out or will my setup just jam on me and advice thnks?

The Rotor will be fine, but in truth the GEO's seem to struggle a bit with the reballs. I am not sure why or if yours would have problems, but I would recommend bringing a backup just in case.

You need to add the spacers to the bolt so they can adjust to the lowered speed.

Just saw beginners are before this 5:30 to 8. Think I will try this first tomorrow. If I notice a am not being challenged will maybe stay for advanced. Just have to make sure to get out of work on time.
