Holy Cow, I didn't even know we had a SYSTEM thread.
When does everyone start looking indoors for the 2012-2013 season?

Seeing as I now have a Cold from Playing in 50* Weather last Week
Now Would be Great! But It would be Better if it Wasent on Friday Nights (Brother plays HS Varsity Football at that time.) Thursdays or Saturdays Would be More Appealing to Me. And Probably some other Ballers. But at the same time I realize that you host other events on these fields and Fridays may be your only/best option.
Anyways I'l looking Forward to Indoor Season

Me, too. lol. The level of competition and numbers of teams are the two things that you guys have more control over than I do.

I'm interested now, I think I'd like to try it now that I've heard there is team practice at a fair price with good competition.
It would be sweet if everyone could coordinate a time where there could be an open team practice!

Yes it would. We have not set a date for first practice night yet, but I'll let you know when it happens.
PS- I think I am going to try to set up the World Cup layout this friday, for funsies.

I'm thinking about presenting the idea of "Advanced Players" night instead of straight team practice. We usually get a couple of individuals and in the straight team practice format, sometimes they get a little lost in the shuffle. I'm thinking semi and PSP modes, no safety (i.e., 10-foot) rules, unlimited paint and no rentals available (unless someones gun breaks down).
Anyone else have something they think should be part of what I present? Like, are there hours people like better and can agree on (bearing in mind that this is a soccer place, so soccer schedules dictate field availability)?

I think from a business standpoint I would try to get a solid date for a re-opening of the indoor season. On that re-opening date offer a reduced rate to entice new customers and make it more viable for people that are hesitant on the idea of reball (which I was one of these hesitant people from prior experience with a different facility). I would set up an full scale field to demonstrate the possibilities to first time teams that attend. I already know this place is great for drills and showing it off to its full potential can start some word of mouth marketing. Potentially get in contact with some photographers and videographers to help promote the facility to those that may not be able to attend.
I kind of liked the Friday night session because we would go to a bar afterwards to "re-hydrate". haha But something on a Saturday or Sunday maybe work out as well since most people that work weekdays will be free to make weekends. More people, more market share, more growth, more FUN!

I'm staying in the area until Christmas time for some school and would like to come out and play around a little. Your idea of an 'advanced players' night or time (or even like a small group that could rotate in) appeals to me a lot. I've played for years. I would be interested in a flat rate for the night and be able to have unlimited 'paint'.

I Like the Idea. However, I wouldn't go straight no Rental and More Limited Rentals. I have a Bunch of friend that are "Advanced" Players that Just Dont have their own Gear anymore because they dont play often enough anymore to justify it.
As for Time What about adding an Hour onto your open play time and Combine the two styles, Alternating Playing Levels. (Just one Idea)
Personally I Dont like Friday Nights My Brother Plays Varsity Football and By the time his games end and I drive out there It wouldn't be worth-it
I Dont know what your Thursday Nights Look like but that seems to work for alot of people for some Reason.
And If you do a Grand Re-opening Please Please Please Dont do it on a sunday.Sundays are Travel back to School Days.

Friday, November 2 will be the first night of the Advanced Open play format. I think the time will be 8:30-10:30 and cost will be $30. AS far as how it is run, I am going to try a couple things, probably, and see what works best. What I try first will depend on the mix we get at the first night. My plan is to do full size PSP World Cup layout (I have not yet gotten confirmation on if we can use the full size field, but it looks likely right now). Paint will be unlimited, Semi or PSP Ramping, 240fps. I know its two hours and not four, but we'll see how it goes. Right now the owner is playing it a little conservatively until we see if it will take off, then I'll pitch for a little more time.

Question. I have a gun I built and I need to shoot it to see how it does. Can I come in and blast some reballs threw it for a decent price?
Also, what do you guys run on Sunday as far as price and style of play?

As Spartan has said this Friday we will be starting our Advanced Open Play Reball from 8:30pm - 10:30pm. If this becomes bigger we can expand the hours, but until that happens it will remain 2 hours.
It will be $30 and unlimited balls.
