As a long time member and supporter of this site for many, MANY Years and an AVID PROTESTER to the removal of the side bar from the very first instant it was removed...
This is preposterous at the very least. You leeches here on PBN have no shame at all do you??!?!??
The Sidebar is an element that is EASILY enabled and WAS part of the site FREE OF CHARGE for years until some asshat had a brain fart and decided things would be more streamline and user friendly without it.
Upon reading the E-mail announcing the epic and triumphant return of the sidebar, I immediately clicked on the link to check it out. TO MY SURPRISE AND UTTER SHOCK... The Sidebar is subscription based!!!!! What a STUPID and insulting idea!!!!
This site has turned into a cesspool of money grubbing leeches who are exploring as many creative ways to keep draining your wallet. WHEN DOES IT STOP??!?!?!!?!?!!!!?!?!?
When PBN is 100% Subscription based to even log on and read anything on here??!?!? I remember the days when one would come on here and chew the Cyber rag with pals and debate topics and share ideas and experiences intellectually, something that has increasingly declined the last few years. Almost every other post on here these days is some tool asking if their Marker is Special Edition or promoting the sale of a "Truly Rare" Marker. There are very few of us left who actually write posts of worth and value and even then, we have been pushed away from here for a multitude of reasons. This Sidebar Nonsense doesn't sit well with me and I'm sure several others.
As stated in the initial post... It was a HUGE Mistake to remove it but bringing it back and charging through the Wazoo for it is an even BIGGER MISTAKE.
This is absurd and I take personal offense to this entire money grubbing tactic.

I'm tired of the sidebar now. Can I turn it off, but retain my subscription in case I decide to re-enable it in the future? I don't want to lose the capability, especially at <$15 a month.
