Rubber wrap around grips with OLED screen

It looks like these Vanguard grips might be a perfect fit for people who have a Tadao Yakuza OLED board in their Marqs (instead of using Stinger panels). Does anybody have access to a Vanguard Creed that can let me know if these grips do in fact fit a Bob Long Marq with a Tadao Yakuza OLED board installed? Thank you.

I have a Creed and a Marq, but no Yakuza. If I run into someone at the field sometime soon with a Yakuza in a Marq I'll check.

it look's like it will work if you have your frame taped for the g6r grips

Thanks tlmiller. Besides for the OLED screen, can you check how the Creed rubber grips fit on your Marq grip frame? Do the screw holes in the Creed grips line up perfectly with the Marq grip frame screw holes when you have all six screws in place? Does the rubber on the Creed grips extend beyond the length of the Marq grip frame? Thanks again.

should just copy the grips used for the alien indy 2011. they look like hard panels, but are soft to the touch and somewhat flexible.

yeah i am really happy about them... hopefully my ripper arrrives tomorrow, so i can get a pic for you where you can see how transperant the polycarbonat is.

the "glass" is already inside

it´s really clear and transparent!

the material is called polycarbonat

they look the same but I think my window is a little slimmer. It was pretty cool though the guy I bought the polycarbonite from also custom cut it for free. So I ordered 1" x 1/4" x 1/8" pieces and used a dremel to make my first cuts. Then I used a metal file to slowly work away the material to the window size. It was kinda slow but I already ruined another pair trying to do everything with the dremel

Picking up a set of grips today to do for my Vic! Great!

So - I cant see it in the pic, but did you :

a) cut a lip to hold the Poly Window in place?
b) cut a step down to hold the Poly Window in place?
c) use glue to hold the Poly Window in place?

I'm thinking of trying to cut a step down to the window then maybe hold it in place with electrical tape... this is why I ask how you secured yours.

**edit - did you use a razor blade to cut the grip window?

Once you get the grips you will feel how well made they are. No way are you cutting through them with a razor. I used a dremel with a small cutting wheel. I made the hole the exact size as the material with the dementions I listed above. It just so happems the the 1/8th of an inch thinkness of the window is how thick the hard material is that I cut through. It fits it there really tight and I also put super glue on the edges of the hole where the window sits.
