Quest + Prophecy Settings

For years I have used a Halo with no isssues. Last year I got my hands on a Prophecy for $30 so I figured why not try it out. Well its not been too successful. I've tried multiple settings over the past year but I get frustrated with cleaning my marker that I just throw on the Halo and rock out.

My question is simple, who here is using a prophecy and what setting do you have the prophecy set on?

NOTE - I am using a Critical RSF bolt.

I use a Prophecy on mine. Stock settings.

I have RSF and 4B. I generally use the 4B, but I have used the RSF, yeah.

Just to confirm, are you saying that you are breaking paint when using the Prophecy? If so, the first things that I would suggest are turning down the loaders speed setting and ensuring that the tension monitoring function is turned on.

your prophecy is probly put together wrong make sure all the parts are put right as the 2 half back can cause this issue when not snapped together right.

You should be more clear on what the issue is...I use a v1 prophecy on my quest(w/ rsf bolt) and have not had any problems.

Prophecy was won at a tournament, kid sold it for $30 on the spot, BNIB.

When I shoot, in PSP mode, the prophecy stutters. Swap out for the Halo, no issues. I have adjusted the speed settings and I can't seem to find a working combo.

Set your sound sensitivity to High. I use mine on my Mags and cockers with no issues and then with RF on my Borg and Droid. I bet it's not hearing your marker. I had 3!!! Halos not hear my Quest. If you can buy an RF chip do it. You'll see your Prophecy perform at a whole new level.

RF chip is nice, but by no means necessary. Turn your sound sensitivity up! This should help a lot. The reason that the Halos work so well with a quest is because the sound sensitivity is already much higher, but many people were blowing out their microphones with loud guns, so that's why they lowered it in the prophecy.

Presumably when people are referring to HALOs, they actually mean Reloader Bs and B2s?

I never personally had any issues with the microphones in my HALOs, what with them being eye controlled loaders!

I will try to adjust the settings once more this weekend on the Prophecy and if its still shredding I'll try and remember to take a video. I'll follow up next week. Thanks!

I am getting so confussed. I use a prophecy without any issues and would like to help, but which one is your issue? Is the loader "stuttering" and not feeding fast enough or shredding paint?

Full hopper (Halo), PSP Mode on the Quest, Rip off the whole hopper, no issues.

Full hopper (Prophecy, on various settings, even the default out of the box setting), PSP Mode on the Quest, Try and rip off the whole hopper but about 20 balls in the "rope" is now broken and its like ball/blank/ball/blank/spray.

Clean the gun up, swap hoppers, rip the rest of the hopper with no issues.

I have a similar issue as this with one of my prophecies, got it used off the nation worked great a few times and then I noticed the belt drive is slipping and not feeding properly.

Maybe your issue lies with the hoppers hardware, I'm running an rsf in my quest as well and it has no issues with the "good" prophecy I just need to quit being lazy and get the replacement belt from empire/kee

You may also want to up your bolt delay if you already have the hopper on the lowest setting. You maybe getting some bounce causing they bolt chop the paint.

Test didn't happen this weekend, had a plethora of other issues with my backup quests so never got around to testing this. I will follow up though once I run the tests and record it.
