Worst comes to worse you can just have a reputable shop anodize them. Probably would only cost $60-$80 which is about what an accent kit would run if one ever did make it to market.

I tell you what though....they have the right idea. They are trying to offer things that no other online retailer can. It does give them an advantage IMO.

$200 for those kits is rediculous.
I bought the Apple Rancher(silver w/lime green accents) and it's now grown on me. But $200 is outrageous from ANS. It's cheaper just to send the parts to be anno'd from the get go.

ANSgear.com has color kit for the FX but the cost is $150. These kits are the only ones for DP. ANS took it in themselves to put this together for us. Yes $150 is expensive but where else can you get one. Think of it this way cost for a kit normallyruns $50-70. Now add that they annoyed some at a cost of $50. So they are maybe making $20. Cheaper to trade or anno off here. I have been trying to trade my G4 accents fir a month and no one wants to so my next step is anno.
