2/10, main things you need to focus on are horizons and your exposures. The subjects are under exposed yet the grass is over processed. (not shooting directly into the sun can help with this.) Also, try a different angle than one that we see every day from normal perspective. Ex: get lower/higher to make the photo more interesting. Everyone starts somewhere, so keep shooting!

7/10 interesting? i gave it a 6 originally, but the comp is pretty good, i think a 7 is right.

concerning my photo, i wired 9 LED lights onto a paint roller, that made the outer ring, the middle ball was made by swinging a light on the end of a string in a circle. during the transition from making the planet and then using the paint roller to make the planets rings, i had my friend cover the lens

I'm really not sure to be honest haha. I took this photo a few months ago and can't remember much. To my knowledge though, its strands of grass that turned out to look almost polished.

8/10 I wouldn't have guessed he was a stray though because of the collar and him being relatively well kempt. Since you mentioned he is though, it works alot better with the dirty cars and the bars in the foreground. It gives it an entirely different feel.
