It is news that Jeff Stein retired from running the hurricanes and is taking the team names with him.
He also mentioned that the team planned to merge with AValanche, hence my posting.
No surprise seeing how over the past couple of years Avalanche has had a strong relationship with Hurricane players guesting with the team and or joining for the season.
