Should be fine... I'm running a very old style Freak back on mine, similar dimensions to the Jr. Just make sure your back is Cocker threaded, and you'll be good.

I have a mid 90's Tagmaster with a 14" smart parts barrel. I just took it out of the box after 13 years and discovered that todays paint is smaller in diameter than yesteryears paint. Is there a barrel that I can buy with the tagmaster threads that will fit todays paint?

The original Trracer/Tagmaster series took their own threads, and haven't been made in years. You're likely going to have to have one made special, or find a "vintage" barrel.

Good question. I don't think the old Trracers had enough meat to support that, but I could be thinking of something else.
You know what might be a good bet? Palmer's brass tubes. I was trying to remember earlier who it was who still did barrels for every threading under the sun. That way, the barrel could come with Palmer's "widget" detents, too, and that would help with rollouts, small paint, and such.

I used a 2" WWA front on my freak front, overall length can't be more than 8".

Interesting, I didn't realize J&J still made barrels. Hadn't heard anything from them in years.

Brass
I've got an old brass AA barrel for my old Trracer. All the guys at the woodsball fields drool when they see it.

Eclipse SL barrel is a good fit. Not as tight as stock, but close.
Dangerous Power Fusion barrel is similar.
Evil Pipe fits well, almost like stock.
A Carter Buzzard barrel fits perfectly, if you hit the lottery.

How about the iFit? Does that fit alright? I have a freak, I thought I saw that it would fit too?

wow, people really need to read the thread, most of the questions on the second page have already been addressed on the first.
by the way, if you flipp the barrel graffiti inside out and put it on a thin barrel like the deadlywind, the rubbery part will hold onto the pump handle, whilst the fabric side works as a silent slider, so you don't hear that "ffwwch" every time you pump it and it should stop the barrel from going from dust black to gloss black from wear as well.
just a neat thing I discovered

I've been loving my Freak kit ever since I acquired it. Wander around in the BST section, you can find full kits for inside your budget usually. Just make sure you get Cocker threads!
