Here are some pics of my method. Please excuse the quality of the pics but it's the best I can do right now.

Before pic

After pics

Instructions....

Desolder....flip the switch...resolder... add the wire from the top pin to the bottom pin as seen in the third pic
Don't forget to back the switch activation screw out until it has no effect on where the switch activates. That is a big deal and if you don't do it the trigger will be stronger than it was before.

Sorry about the instructions but that's about all there is to say.

Pretty much. It increases the ammount of leverage the trigger has on the switch making it alot lighter.

Feel free to ask questions if you have any.

the flip trick will make the pull easier, the aluminum tape will stop the slop... when my shocker gets in, im gonna get some extra switches, flip it and bend the switch, see how it works out..

I dunno man, I think something might be broken, ok tehres the two parts but they just won't stay together, teh little ring and everything, then i took teh microswitch out of another gun and took teh casing off, and you guessed it everything flew apart so now i have two guns that won't shoot.

I'm taking apart my gun and the microswitch right now. The pictures and directsion should be up in a couple hours, possibly tomorrow. I doubt you broke anything, sit tight.

Intense-Player69,

if you need help please AIM me at JoeAE2005

For the rest of you,

I was able to get ahold of a digital camera. Unfortunately, the camera will not focus enough to capture the detail needed.

I'm not sure what to do now, I really need pictures to go with the instructions.

I have already given very rough written instructions on the procedures, however, unless you are somewhat mechanically inclined, they are probably not complete enough for the majority of people.

Unless I can get ahold of a digital camera which can take very sharp focused pictures at close range, I'm going to have to present these two options to everyone:

1. If you are pretty smart, know a bit about physics, mechanics, stuff like that, feel free to AIM me at JoeAE2005 and I can probably help you through the modification in real time over the chat. Shoot I'd even be willing to help you out over the phone if you called me. But this is all dependent on my available time.

2. You can also just send me the lower circuit board with the microswitch attached, and I will make the modification myself and send it back to you. You pay for shipping and $10. Most of you probably won't be interested in this option, which is good because I frankly don't have the time to do more than a couple at a time. If you are interested in that, you can AIM me or email me.

What I am hoping for is that over time, someone with a good digicam will create instructions for this mod and take pictures. If I can get my hand on a good digicam, I will do it, but this probably won't be for a long time.

I have a five mega pixel cam and a microswitch that is already taken apart. I'll try and see if mine will capture the detail and then mayb you can explain how to put it back together since thats teh part that people will have trouble with.

Yup that would be great intense. Take pictures from different angles of everything! Then send them to me. If you can, contact me on AIM at JoeAE2005 so you can send me the pictures.

Update- got it all back together, the microswitch is freaking light, you can't even tell when its actuating. I really don't advise doing this mod anywhere that you might lose the pieces. Joe if you need more pics ill take some. I advise using tweezers to do this mod.

I own a viking as of yesterday, a featherlight w/ all the fixings, the shocker with this mod is just as fast, just as consistent and lighter, I'm using the featherlight now till the bolt kits come out.
