Do you currently own a 2 liter +? If you don't own one yet, you can get a raw one. They are loctited together so it can be a pain in the butt.

No, I don't own it yet. Perhaps it's easier to run with Sidewinder or SST?

If you get a anno'd one already put together, you have to heat it up to break the loctite first and then take it apart. Even after heating it up though it's a pain to take apart still, but can defiantly be done.
I'd do what psycho said though and just buy a raw one from jared and then whenever it's done just send it back to him and he'll put it all back together so you don't have to worry about putting it together or taking it apart for anno.

Thanks for the tips and quick answers. Mine will have a 2 Liter + and I'd venture to guess if I was to get another Viking it'd have a 2 Liter +, too.

You know that if you get a 2litre its just for looks Vikings are so effecient they really don't need that much reg....the only guns that really needs that much reg were the matrixes (Gen E, dm3 ish) But i have to say...they really are a better looking reg The only reason i didn't use one on my streamline is that i wanted it as light as i could make it

Large or small bore? Black Javelins can be found pretty easily. I might even have 1 or 2 I don't use

Speaking of large vs. small bore javelins... what is the generally accepted actual size for both?

Small bore is .684 and standard is .689.
The Twisted Javelins were measured at .690.

Another quick question...what's the difference between PM5 and DM5 frame? Are boards interchangeable? Tadao doesn't list PM5 for their UL board.

UL frame boards are all compatible to my knowledge. As far as the differences I'm not sure.

TIL that there was no standard to AKA javelin bores.
Yes, PM5 and DM5 boards are interchangeable. Though the DM5 board is much better IMO.
Most UL frame boards are interchangeable as well except for the PM5 UL frame. A standard UL board will sit up too high in a PM5 UL frame and cause the board to hit the solenoid (keep in mind this is only if used on a PM5). Otherwise the only other outliers that wouldn't be compatible with standard UL boards would be the NT and SLG UL Frames.
