No. Our UPD (university police department) is just a subdivision of the actual police department in the county. So they tell people to move along. If they catch you drinking they make you pour it out and if they catch you smoking they will smash your stuff to the ground and tell you to leave.
Our town has a real cartel / meth problem so they have better things to do than pick on college students.

Our cops are legit. They're not terrible but if you get on their wrong side you're going down hard. As with some the other school's in here, our campus police are actual cops and actually outnumber the TPD cops. Their main job is just to keep the campus safe so they're on the lookout more for thugs from town than students breaking a few rules.

hahaha, that's awesome.
My campo are deputies for Middlesex County- so they have the full kit that officers carry while on patrol. We have 15 full time officers for 1300 on campus residents but they don't bother you unless you get in a fight, break stuff, are annoying, or are smoking in the buildings. Though every once in a while they deal with a fight- I watched my suitemate get a beat down last semester... it was funny because he just yelled "Im a CJ major!" the whole way down. |

We dont really have a campus patrol. Well we have security but they can't really do much. Since I live in an all college city, the cops have nothing better to do than to just look for college kids doing stupid things. They hand out minors here like they are going out of style. I am 21 so I could care less about that.

The university pd at clemson is pretty chill about things, if you're pretty drunk some will give you a ride to your dorm/apartment rather than write you up for public intoxication or MIPs and generally don't get involved in things unless it has to do with drugs or if you're causing prolems. They are an actual police department but it seems like their more there just to keep people safe.

The Columbus police and our university police are pretty chill. They don't really try to **** over students, unless you're doing something really dumb. Usually they just tell you stop and go home.

Who? Either way, if you're that retarded to get arrested at your own concert, then you probably deserve it.
Anyway, the cops in Philadelphia are there mostly to protect the students. The Cops in State College (Penn State) are there to punish the students.
I feel safe on campus... but 1 foot outside of campus I'd probably get murdered.

Greenville (town) PD physically assaults students at sporting events and spends more time writing drinking tickets than worrying about real crimes. ECU (school) PD isn't all that bad.
