From my reading, Brankaid is the best source. Also it's cheap.

Plus it's just a decongestant. A good one, at that. I could breathe like a mother****er.

my IF schedule looks like this:

tis keto

lift monday-friday. break fast after lifting with a whey shake. wait 1 hour. consume 4 burgers (no buns) + cheese, protein fluff, and milk all within 2 hours, then begin fasting again.

im 20-22hrs fasted each day when i lift and i feel better when i lift. everyone's different.

weekends, per keto, i just eat the **** outta carbs and IF goes out the window.

Why not keep IF on the weekends and just eat the **** out of carbs within a larger feeding window? IE, stop eating at 10pm the night before, break fast at 2pm and then eat until 10pm. I know you can cram some serious carbs into 8 hours, because I know I can cram some serious carbs into 8 hours.

if you don't fast during the weekend your life monday will be hell due to the entrainment of ghrelin controlling hunger. Just sleep in and skip breakfast lunch - relax IF on weekends in OK but don't just disregard.

My days off from work are a little tricky to keep my fast going. I usually just try to sleep in a bit longer to get me closer to munching time.

I train a good 17-20 hours into the fast. Once I actually hit the weights, it's game time, and I feel fine.

After seeing this thread and the leangans site, I think I'm going to try this out. However, I've seen a few contradictions between here and his site, so I just wanted to clear a few things up.

After looking at his site, I had it in mind that I would do:

Pre-workout bcaas/whey (not counting towards 8 hours of eating, if I understand correctly)
workout soon after
post-workout meal (largest meal)
2 smaller meals spread over the rest of the night

But here I've seen different things, like only having a shake after the workout and eating the large meal a couple hours later.

Are there just multiple ways to lay it out that work?

edit - Obviously I'm only talking about my 3 workout days.

Just doing a shake preworkout is a dumb idea IMO

I usually do my 2nd largest meal pre workout, start sipping on bcaas pre/intraworkout, largest meal post and then smallest meal is last and final

How long before your workout is your first meal, and how long after is your large meal? Couple hours for each?

whey shake preworkout is still breaking the fast, although BCAAs do not. I take a postworkout shake right when I get back from the gym with some dextrose (for the insulin spike) and then Ill eat my huge meal about an hour after that with more complex carbs. If you arent working out fasted, I believe Lurker said to eat a very protein rich meal with as little carbs as possible for the first meal

Running into some trouble with my schedule..

Tuesday I work from 5-1 (usually noon is the 16 hour mark for fasting), and eat when I get home (before 2). I'll usually do some ab work or push ups or something prior to breaking the fast with a shake followed by a meal. I then leave at around 5 for a 6-9 class. Last meal for Tuesday is between 10 and 11.

Wednesday, I should be breaking my fast around 3. But, I have class from 2-5 and 6-9. Thursday I have to be awake at 3:30 to go to work, so eating after class isn't ideal. This all makes it extremely difficult to eat anything.

Any suggestions? I mean, I could go destroy a Golden Corral for 45 minutes or something, but I don't know how great of a plan that is.

This just in: PWO mainly protein, push carbs towards evening for greater fat loss. Ie, carbs PWO (immediate) isn't necessary. Just pound meat PWO.

Also, haven't seen it mentioned, but the key about LG is a focus on starches. Complex carbs at most.

As opposed to breads, pasta, etc.

I feel like this is a "No ****, Sherlock" kind of announcement. Herp derp more pro less cho for more effective cutting.
