Lurker, tomorrow I plan to eat my larger meal towards the end of the day, and I was just wondering how you would work that. I'm getting wings with some friends at 9pm, and I plan to eat about 20. Now since it's a non-training day, I'm just keeping them plain or with sauces that lack carbohydrates...so ultimately it won't be an awful meal for that day. Doing a bit of research, I've learned that 20 wings would be around 1500 calories...so since I'm cutting @ 2000, would you suggest I break the fast at my usual time with a 250 calorie meal, eat another 250 calorie meal in between that time and the time I go out, and then just eat the rest of my cals in that final meal? I'm kind of curious...I realize the method is typically to taper calories down as the day goes on, but this happens to be a special occasion. I'm just glad it falls on my non-training day so the protein + fat and lack of carbs from dry-rub wings can fit into the diet.

Honestly, I would fast all day and then slay copious wings

Warrior diet style? That's interesting...I thought keeping your typical meal time was advisable. But I'm down with that.

Solution yesterday was:
Burrito about an hour PreWO
Shake/pump mix 10min before
60gm whey shake 45min after lifting/15 before MMA
1.00lb+ of ground turkey in whole grain wraps with cheese and guac, french fries, mayo-heavy fry sauce about 40 minutes after MMA

epic sleep

It is, but one day isn't enough to change the entrainment pattern much, once it's set.

Dinner yesterday = 2.2lbs of chicken cooked in coconut milk with curry/asian spices, cinnamon, and topped with sriracha. Huge bowl of cereal for carbs, and some anabolic superfood for dessert.

Cool beans.

And it sounds like someone works out on Mondays haha. I think I may be upping my calorie intake...this week I lost about 2-2.5 lbs while eating 2000 calories daily, so I'll have to see what I decide to raise it to. For a 3-month slow cut, that's too fast for me.

i had a 16 hour fast, then a ~340 calorie meal, then 3 hours went by, then lifted. it is what is suggested on lean gains website if you cant lift within the 16 hour fast.

You know...considering that it was a training day, you could likely fit a donut in post-WO.

Just sayin'...

lol i keep that in mind

lurker, you might want to add this:

Quote:
* On rest days, meal one should ideally be the largest meal, as opposed to training days where the post-workout meal is the largest meal. A good rule of thumb is to make meal one on rest days at least 35-40% of your daily calorie intake. This meal should be very high in protein; some of my clients consume more than 100 g of protein in this meal.
since i could not find any info on timing for non training days on your guide

also, when should BCAAs be taken
