The Defiant was based on the BKO platform. It's safe to assume the Defiant 2 is a based on the same platform, just updated. Parts are hard to find for it as well, it wasn't very popular at all.

More of a bushmaster format. They pretty much took the old defiant 1 into a smaller version with clam shell

I might be alone on this one but I was actually a fan of these. They were not very popular though.

Bushmaster, that was it. I took a stab at it. I knew it was based on something else; at least I had the 'B' right.

The Defiant 2 was actually a fantastic little Marker and were it not for Gino & NPS' GREED, it would've continued a while longer. At $899.99, it was to high a price point and its sales suffered. A few units presented with a sticking issue but of all the ones I Tech'd for people only 2 had the sticking issue and a proper tear down and relube & assembly and problem solved. The Inverted Bolt Donan and myself made for it was the only GOOD upgrade and VP made a Reg adapter so it would accept standard Regs. Other than that it operated much like a Timmy and if you look at the Firing Engine, it kind of was the stepping stone to the MARQ.
I like D2's just fine and they can be found for peanuts these days.

I agree. We had a few at our field when they are out and they never had an issue with tons of play time.
