Gen 5/6 Pillow Bolt

I'm thinking about getting a pillow bolt for my g6r and i can't tell the difference between the 5th generation and the new one. The 5th gen is cheaper so if there isn't a difference i'd rather not overpay.

Not sure if they are different, but every place I checked they are the same price. $41.95

Zephyr has them for $35 and all of the new ones i've seen are $45

Zephyr is out of the gen 5 bolts, so you it being $35 means nothing.

As for the best price. Oringmonkey has them for $44 shipped.

Leftcoast Paintball and Compulsive have them for $41.95 without shipping.

Yeah i guess you're right. I didn't notice that it was out of stock.

Looks like the new ones are my only option.

The only difference between the Gen 5 pillow bolt and the Gen 6 is a different length bolt pin. The Gen 6 bolt pin is slightly smaller to accomodate for the two axis build of the body halves for the G6R. The G6R's bolt sits slightly closer to the ram then on the Gen 5.

Some people have gotten away with using the Gen 5 bolts however you run the risk of the bolt pin popping up when firing due to it not being fully seated correctly.
