Are you using good paint and a good paint/bore match?
Whats your dwell at?
Are you using the correct lube?

Get all that excess lube off there! In the LPR and HPR. That and shooting more paint through it should help! GL

All guns are different and require different needs.
If your gun came with a card, it will have the stock pressures and what it chrono'd at, start with that and mess with it from there.

And?
Set your regs to pressure on card and go from there.

wont that make my gun kick more?? I thought i was suppose to set my gun the lowest lpr setting it can handle then just tweek the HPR tell the volicity you want it met. DOes the LPR have any effect on the volicity? i thought it controlled how the rammer. im seeking a pretty smooth shot

efficiency through consistency. normally lpr is higher but if the gun shoots in a good window of FPS over the chrono. then dont worry about it.

Smooth shot is useless if you're consistency is ****. You cannot say "low LPR = bestest thing evar! Why doesn't my gun work with my LPR at 20psi?" because going too low is going to cause problems with cycling and consistency. Keep your gun stock until you put 5-10 cases in it and then you can start tweaking, but even still you should probably not go THAT much lower than 70. It is possible to get a smoother shot via means other than the LPR so don't get fixated on needing to run your LPR way out of spec. Try upping your dwell a bit too. That will decrease efficiency a little bit but it will lower the force on the internals (Impulse = Force x Time, higher time = lower force) and give you a smoother shot.
When you say "the reg is jumpy" do you mean your velocity is sporadic or your pressures are changing from shot to shot? Your velocity being sporadic is likely due to your LPR being out of spec. Pressures being sporadic means your reg needs to be cleaned (which you said you already did).

ok thx, i traded for this gun so i dont know how much paint has been through it but it does have the LP poppet. so when i go to play next ill set the LPR to 70. then do i just go to the crono and tweek the HPR tell it is at what i need.
also what should i up my dwell too as of now it is stock.
sorry my velocity is sporadic

Add one or two milliseconds to it. Especially in cold weather this can help with consistency as well.
