Counting your shots is too difficult?

No one's got the time (focus) to count shots when you're owning fools, that's what loaded chamber indicators are for (and somewhat for safety).

Seriously though, "high stress" will make you lose track and it's always helpful to have a visual aid. Plus, building things that work as you intended is fun.

oh I can count alright...I think..
...but between mag switches....I play both the 7's and 12's...a chrono here and there....thinkin about the 21 shots per c02 12 gr....or how many shots I have for air for in the twin 12gr I rigged for the tcr...(its in the forum somewhere)

like they said whos got the time?....plus...its always that one shot u need...that u didnt have
...cause u couldn't see or not see the dumb ball through the 1/8" "window" on the tipx (nada on the tcr)
...through your mask
...though all that dust...dirt...
and what...
1,2...3...4...I lost count ...beads of sweat...
(<--- channels joe pesci ..."my cousin vinnny" )

red light - green light seems ..just easier!

as for the space...
people have asked ,,,,,how will I fit that board in the marker?
....er...its just a "bread board" to test a circuit
...the actual assembly is much smaller...in fact the largest part will be the battery...which is 2x 2032's (the coin battery thingy) inserting the mag "turns" it on and it will only be working while playin...

tipx will be a trick to route everything...the tcr has more real estate..
but we shall see!

Any pictures with it installed?

Will you be milling channels to recess the wiring?

sorry so long a wait but i tend to take my time with stuff

finally drilled out the breech for the eyes..

the 3mm's ir rx and tx fit nicely with a 1x2 oring

got the circuit needed to fit on the legs of the bi color led....also a 3mm

this is what i meant by no wires..
the circuit is done with copper tape...
technically the gun body is the circuit board
using components like the breech, vavle, etc as conductor blocks.

this is the micro switch that allows the mag to be the on off..

final...soon...well not so soon...but soon enough!

Wow.. that's impressive. Somebody at Tippmann give this guy an R&D job

My question is, how are you going to keep the two halves from rubbing that copper tape apart?

The parts where the copper is has no moving parts. The parts where it's exposed are where they make contact with internals I want them to. I.e. The breech is the "common" ground. The valve is the "hot". A cr2025 fits right behind the valve and when it's in there, (the positive side on the valve) it energizes the whole valve. I swing the neg side around and "tape" my way to the breech..avoiding the area where the bolt slides.
The copper lines that run on the edges are sandwiched between the two halves and don't move.
The whole led circuit fits where the remote tube would exit the gun. I don't have a remote. The whole thing would fit where the led would be where the "window" on top of the marker is now, but I wanted in the back where you'd typically be looking while shooting. Plus I don't want people knowing I'm out!

The area I was referring to was between the halves where you have your microswitch. But, if the body doesn't shift too much it shouldn't cause any issues with the tape.

Oooo those are sandwiched in between..and right by the screw locations so...no friction!
