Running 2 of the same class is never optimal because CCs DR eachother. And ret/holy doesnt have a ton of synergy with eachother.

Ret/ret would be pure cheese but it might work if both the pallies are aware of when to split when to focus and when to switch.

Deminishing returns. After a cc is used on you, it is half duration then quarter duration then immune. Its to prevent like a mage from just chain sheeping you for five minutes straight. If no one ccs you for 15 seconds the dr resets.

Thats why the key to success in most arena comps is chaining seperate CCs that dont share DRs together to (a) force the enemy healer to fall behind on heals, or against double dps teams to (b) reduce incoming damage so your own healer doesnt fall behind.

Example: i play 2s with a frost mage. Our goal is to get a good opener on the healer to force a trinket. Then when DR resets we chain cyclone sheep ring of frost counterspell and bash so the healer falls behind.

If one of them isnt dead by Then the mage switches to the healer while i cyclone the other guy (so he cant be healed or peel to reduce pressure on the healer) and we just keep chipping away, forcing the healer to fall farther and farther behind till eventually one of them dies.

I play a fairly aggressive style for a healer. Always got one guy cycloned, always got dots up on anyone not getting CCed.

Yeah, nope thats to keep you from just chain hexing people indefinitely. Its why some classes play better with others.

Like mag/rog is a great control comp because they have so many different forms of CC that dont share DR. and its why the charge nerf hit warriors so bad (charge now shares DR with other stuns, used to be its own DR) because a warrior can make a guy immune to stuns just by using his gap closer.

I dont play with a lock ever so i dont k ow much about em. Id say against pally and shammy the dog would still be best because you can lock their casted heals. Drood will run almost exclusively instants so unless you catch them cycloning or like to utilize the blanket silence the succy might be better.

The pet is really just to keep them in combat so they cant drink and have to cast through pushback constantly. The seduce/spell lock is icing on the cake.

this warrior is so annoying to lvl, but i had a lot of fun on my friends 85 warrior so i think itll be worth it

Been farming for Zin'rokh for since thursday, at like 75 solves.. It really hasn't been that bad. I've made alot on the greys and i got like 6 rares. Not to mention i've been ripped.

thats really the key is finding a class you enjoy playing and sticking with it.

i wish they allowed players to try toons at max level, like a full time TTR where you just log on, the toon is max level with some gear, and you just go play it and find out how you enjoy the class.

oh yeah forgot about eat magic. i'd say 90% of the time run hound. only time i'd use succy is if you got a mage partner and you're playing against a druid, you could use succy to seduce when he leaves form and chain it into a sheep.

if running rsham, feral is the only viable spec for the drood, balance is just plain bad right now. the comp would be more viable as enhance sham and rdruid though.

double dk, double mage, double rogue (to an extent) work. double ret would blow. you are giving ret to much credit, it is still kinda gimp.

you could probably do alright as holy/ret but it would be better with any other healer.

Viability doesnt make it optimals. Mag/mag and rog/rog are lightyears behind mag/rog as far as versitility and number of counters and stuff. and dk/dk relies less on Chaining CCs and more on heavy cleaving pressure.

I said ret/ret would be cheesy. It would never work at high levels but sub 1500 where people suck or are rolling less than 3k resil you might be bursty enough to make it work.

And ret/holy has very little synergy. Forbearance makes the second bubble less effective, very little in the way of cc (a repentance and 2 hoj) and you have probably the least mobile healer with the least peel capable dps.

Ive rolled a DK-Hunter combo and were doing great even though hunters are still gimp...only thing good is mm aimed shot is criting for 35+ k crit. but who really has 2.9 secs to get a shot of in 2s? it even takes 50 focus right then and there its worthless.
