I was told 4C EYES are worth it if you play a lot of Semi. Anyone that own 4C Eyes on their G6R care to comment?
Thanks

not at all. even if you play semi, all guns shoot great without having 4 eyes installed.

I have 4C eyes in both of my gen5s....
Can't say I really noticed a difference from the stock 2C eyes.
I wanted the "laser" aspect.

I've always found 4c eyes to make streams more consitent, so id say they do what their suppose to.

They don't do anything for you if you play tourneys/fields that ramp. Semi is noticeable

Definately noticed a consistency improvement in semi with the 4c eyes on my G6R. They work, period . Whether or not thats worth $55 to you or not is all you need to decide.

Welcome to the conversation.
I have 4C in my vice, the vice I just got I think only has 2C (but I still need to find out). If it is only 2C I will be upgrading to the 4 eyes

Pretty much about $50.
Here's the thing. There's this misconception that 4C eyes make you shoot faster. They really don't. As many others have said or alluded to, they make your streams of paint more consistent. Most of us look at a timer on our board, etc. and see a bps count. Arbitrarily I'll say that you're shooting and look at your LCD and it says 13 bps. In actuality, you're not shooting a consistent 13bps. You're shooting an average of 13bps over a few seconds. The board measures the trigger pulls, bolt cycling and divides by time. Sometimes you're shooting more and sometimes you're shooting less. With the 4C eyes, you're eliminating cycle time using the second set of eyes to detect the motion of the paint.
This enables you to eliminate unecessary delays (like bolt delay) since the marker knows there's paint settled in the breach and that the bolt is back. It then queues up and cycles the next shot. What this creates is a tighter consistency in the strings you shoot. Whereas before you might have been pulling 13 bps, maybe now you're still technically shooting an average of 13bps, except instead of seeing outliers like 9bps, 16bps, in a one second period, you're seeing 12bps, 13 bps, 13 bps, 14 bps, etc. each second. You'll get a tighter string of paint and better consistency in the string. It may also marginally improve your bps by a second or two but you'll still have a more consistent string. I can notice it in my Vice when I swap down to an Intimidator that only has 2 eyes.
If you're using ramping for tournament play, it's a redundant feature and not needed.

They are generally priced somewhere around $50-$55 for the standard and another $10 more for the visible laser. I just got the standard 4c.
