OMG -.- Thats some nice gear. Yea I never got the point of making the 70-200 F4L when theres a 2.8 out... Why not get a 28-70 F2.8?

I started with a Fuji point and shoot. Currently, I'm on my third D2H. I also have a D70 for shooting with flash and a N80 for when I get the urge to shoot film. My next camera will be a 4X5.

my 70-200 F4 cost me $500, the 2.8 II was $2100 or so. Same focal length, but completely different levels of equipment.

I was actually thinking about a 24-70, it would round out quite nicely. But I still want a wide prime though

The 24-70 is a ****ing spectacular lens. It's my favorite all around for most of my portrait work (not a huge fan of primes, but I do own a hand full of um) and as a walk around lens. I say pick it up. you wont be sorry.
