Our coach isn't allowed to be on the roster

ooo ok. I thought whoever coached on the field this past tournament at nitro had to be on the roster.

I'm not sure about that tournament, but I was reading another thread that said if they're on the roster, they CAN'T coach, and we don't want that!

i guess the confusion lies with "being on the roster" and a "player on the roster". If im on the roster as, "staff" then it may be ok.

Last year at nationals, they didnt allow for a coach on the field for AA, but this past tournament, you guys had a coach on the field soooooo idk.

According to Raehl, if you're on the roster, you must be in the pit or getting paint. If you want to coach on the sidelines, you cannot be on the roster in any way, player or staff.

By the rules its spectator participation, not coaching. So stay off the roster and if we need to slap you on the staff at the event its not very difficult.

I've been thinking of lines we can use on Saturday of the event and here is what I have so far.

line 1:Erik, Bisso, Nubbz, Juicy, Phillip
Line 2:Vince, Phillip Mike, Bisso Nubbz
Line 3: Erik, Vince, Phillip Nubbz, Juicy
Line 4: Phillip, Mike, Bisso, Erik, juicy/vince

If we need to make a power line at the event we will. Thoughts?

Alright. We are set for Friday. Here's the plan as of now:

GSU Van/Trailer - Mike, Phill, Vince, Nubs, Alex, Thomas, Michael Day
- Packed and ready to leave at 11:45 am, we will pick up Vince and Nubs on the way out of town at approx 12:30 pm
- Have gear and personal items at Phill's house ready to be loaded ahead of time (Thursday night)

POV1 - Bisso, Ben, Erik, Garry(?)
- Leaving at time TBD once everyone gets off work (approx 5:30 pm)
- If you guys want the van/trailer to transport your gear down for you, make sure it's at Phill/Erik's place ready to go Thursday night.

POV2 - Juicy, Tiffany
- Leaving at time TBD once out of class (approx 6:30 pm)

Make sure all your equipment is serviced and ready to go. I do have batteries from the school if needed. Wash your jerseys. I just got 48 brand new pods and 10 new barrel squeegees for the team in the mail. We also have two tents, two tables and a cooler from GSU. I'll stop by Costco and pickup some Gatorade, water, and food stuffs (special requests? - I'll be sure and get bananas for Nubs).

Final note - Those of you who still owe dues, it will be expected that you pay your share if you want to play in Florida. Talk with me offline and we can work it out.

I dont know who plans on driving in POV1. If it is me, and we take my vehicle, I would suggest any and all gear that could be taken down with the van, be taken down. My car isnt that big...
