50 cal !

I actually tried out the 50 cal when i was at sc village a few weeks ago. and i really enjoyed it ! my kids were with me and they were a bit afraid of the bigger paintballs, but once they saw the size of the paintballs and how light the guns were we had a blast !.... cant wait to take the kids back for 50 CAL !

tried using brittle 68 cal paint or an invert mini? kinda like the same thing, except way easier to get paintballs for it.

glad you and your kids had a fun time with 50 cal for your first taste of paintball.
when your kids get older/more experienced i highly recommend moving on to 68 cal. the paint performs better, more guns are available in that caliber (if you chose to buy one), and about 99% of the paintball community uses 68 cal.

Have you ever shot the .68 cal. before, if so how did the .50 cal. compare to it?

50 cal doesn't shoot as far but can shoot through smaller spaces, doesn't cost as much but doesn't shoot as straight, here is a video of me shooting my friend with my ego 9 with a .50 cal kit. if it will play..!/video/vid...35925573120606

Man everyone sure does bash on .50 cal.... I have a .50 cal spyder advancer. The advancer with an upgraded regulator shoots pretty dam straight, sure the wind affects it a lil more since it only weighs 1.3 grams compared to the .68 cal that weights 3 times more but on a non windy day its awesome. I love it! O and if you do get the spyder i highly suggest upgrading the regulator and buy the electronic loader(spyder radid loader).
