awd? rwd?
for awd id say subaru impreza. maybe an older one with a wrx swap in it of some sort.

nissan maxima is an option, the newer ones have a pretty decent interior and arnt that bad on gas.

otherwise look into civics, integras, rsx etc.. celicas are chick cars... lol

I've got an american bulldog a golden retriever and a black lab, live in Montreal, live with my girl and soon to have a baby boy, looking into smaller suv/crossover under 10g.

Safety reliability and mileage are the only priorities..what should we get

Keep in mind prices of autos in Montreal are dirt cheap, mid 2000 4runners and pathfinders with low k run about 6g

Toyota Celica gt/gt-s
Acura Integra GSR
RSX base/type-S
Honda civic SI (the hatchback one should fall into your price range)
Ford Focus SVT/2.3pzev/ST
Miata

I don't know what decent looking is to you so here's a list of most of the cars that fall into your other requirements

edit: Ford escort zx2s also fall into your requirement.

When looking for a vehicle that can fit 3 full size dogs, a baby and all its stuff, and an angry french troll? Yes it is tiny because the people in the backseat have there knees touching the front seat unless they are under 4 foot.

no it isn't.

You asked for a small suv/crossover that's efficient. Make up your damn mind.

depends on the SRT-4. Neon? Everyone who owns one that i've ever met is an *******, and everyone I've seen driving one has been driving like an *******. In my mind, SRT-4 Neon = *******.
Caliber? dunno, I see so few of them. I like the caliber itself, but it's still fail wheel drive. It could be a fun little car.

Yeah I meant neon SRT-4. I've probably seen like 2 of them over the last couple of months, were driving pretty normal.

I've been inside a Cayenne, it is one of the smallest suvs ive ever seen.. Not tryng to be picky just keep in mind I like to take my 3 dogs in the car with me, and the next to non existent trunk\rear leg room just grinds my gears. It isn't efficient at all in my mind for the class of car that it is in. Sorry just my opinion.

I suppose I should have said mid-sized then, I don't consider a mid 2000's 4runner a large suv at all, the 2009 and up ones mind you ****, those are huge tank beasts.

What about the Excursion is better then the 4 runner? I can't seem to find many good reviews or test drives of them. Also, thoughts on a 2006 Pacifica? I know it didnt sell well, and because of that it was discontinued.. but with the rear seats folded down that looks like it will have a **** ton of room for my dogs.

Thanks for any and all opinions
