Freight shipment for heavy/large items

I am looking to get a block shipped to me(Texas to Illinois). I was wondering if anybody has used any freight companies in the past, or any recommendations on where to go? I already know of uship, looking for other ideas too.

Hey man long time. I heard a while back you could ship freight on greyhound/bolt buses before, not sure if it's still true.

Yeah you still can, but this is going to be to heavy strapped to a pallet and will need a liftgate for pickup, and I can use a forklift at a business to unload.

My buddy Roy aka "The Skipper" used to live in Texas. Maybe he knows of a local company.

I fedexed a block for a Subaru Delaware to California. Total weight was under 200lbs, though. Cost roughly $1/lb with my fedex account.

Where in Texas to where in Illinois? Try calling a shipping company named beaver express, they are based out of oklahoma. They can probably get you a great rate.
