Going from a 2006 v6 stang to a 2k2 camaro ss/z28 question

I have a 2006 V6 auto mustang with about 84,000 KM on it. It's not fun to drive at all, and feels really dated for a 2006. I had more fun driving my mom's sunfire when I was a teenager (seriously). My goal was to next year acquire a 2008 Mustang GT, but with varying prices it, it doesn't look like my funds will allow it. So I've been looking around online for either or a 2001 or 2002 Camaro SS/Z28. Would going from a 06 v6 stang to a 2002 camaro SS be an upgrade or downgrade? I will only do it if the Camaro has less than 100,000 KM mileage. Is there anything I should know about them before buying?

Thanks

Why not save up a little longer and get the car you want? It seems like an impulse buy to trade an 06 for something 11 years old when you can wait a bit and go newer than 06.

Well, I bought the 2006 stang in 2011... As a teenager my 'dream car' was a new Camaro SS... in 2011 the 2002 Camaro was looking a little old, and since Chevy didnt make a Camaro from 2003-2009 I decided to for the Mustang. Nice looking car but I will never buy another v6 pony car again.

Well I always knew the SS/z28 were way faster than the 05-10 v6 stangs. But in terms of fun to drive, handling, feel, etc what can I expect? I've had my car looked at serveral times and they find nothing... it has this issue where if you let off the gas then hit it again too hard it will make the car kick forward. i HATE it.

Yeah, if you didn't know this is normal I wouldn't get anything fast. The real question is why are you letting off and stomping on the gas so much that it's an issue? I imagine you're hooning around town like an *** who doesn't know what accelerator control is.

My response now is get a dodge camaro.

I would love a 2011+ GT just with my rent and bills and all that crap it makes it hard to save up enough, and I don't want to finance.

nope, i'm a very reponsible driver, and if when I make a turn just hitting the gas a tiny amount makes the car kick through the turn... geez

You just said let off and then hit the gas too hard. That implies quick lifting(Assuming to brake) and then hitting the gas hard. You didn't say when you barely hit it, you said when you hit it too hard. Describe kick? Kick can mean kick sideways(You're hooning around), slams you in your seat from acceleration(You're hooning around), or various other descriptions.

Assumptions only weaken your argument. I've been driving for over 12 years with 0 accidents and never been pulled over. Not once. Anyway I've explained my mustang problem on other forums and received different answers. Just trying to get some info about what kind of ride I can expect from a 2002 Camaro SS compared to my car.

Except all you gave us to go on were assumptions. Describe your problems better next time, don't blame the person making the assumption when you only gave enough information to justify an assumption.

I'm not trying to start **** at all right now. Just explaining how your comment was inappropriate. And you still haven't described kick, I said it could be other things but you're being so defensive right now that it's pretty hilarious.

If only I knew you what? What the **** would that change? If any of my friends gave me the same descriptions you have I'd make the exact same assumptions. It's not you that's the issue here, it's your phrasing and thinking that we should be able to know exactly what you meant and that we're idiots if we can't read minds.

I would consider something like a an automatic rx7 non turbo for a nice handling car but a dodge camero is pretty badass too .

Svt might be out of his price range

Massive upgrade with plenty of parts available for it (both engine and suspension),

of course, there are plenty of parts avail for the mustang as well. (any v8 model that is).

Nobody can really tell you what's best for you, newish female driver going from a mustang to a v8 anything is kind of scary in my opinion, but your in another country so all is well!
