If your coming to Calgary to go to Banff for snowboarding, go to Republik on fridays. Three rooms, ones just a giant rave and they play trance, and electronic. A room of house, and a room of dubstep. Radio Park is really sick on Saturdays. I doubt you'd be going to Edmonton, but anywhere on White Ave there is pretty sick, and Union.
Canada Olympic Park is like 15 minutes away from downtown Calgary. The hill is terrible, but they have a really sick park. Banff is only an hour away from Calgary too, some of the best mountains in the world.
