Mitchell's Mausers takes truly historic firearms and ruins them. There is no historical value to a Mitchell's mauser.

Anybody have a Noveske? I've heard great things and even held a couple. I'm very seriously contemplating getting a 10.5" Noveske here pretty soon.

I have a couple N4 midlengths. I love the barrel profile. It is exactly what it should be, no random tapers, etc. The chroming is better than most because they chrome with the barrels in a vertical position and they make it thicker. It will not be a SS barrel in terms of accuracy, but they are generally a touch better than your normal good CL barrel.
If they made 11.5" I would have an N4 SBR.

I'm on the fence between a 10.5 and a 12.5". I've heard nothing but good things. The price is a little bit high, but for the quality they are it's right on par. They are definitely a high-end manufacturer. I'm seriously leaning more toward the 10.5" with a KX3 flash suppressor. The pig is nasty sounding. It's got a sound all it's own and it gives me a motoboner.

If you are using a KX3 why not just use a 16" and A2? It will be lighter. The KX3 has a very limited purpose at which it may not even be the best thing for.

I had a 16" rifle, and it's fine. Basically it was a 16" version of an A4, ACOG and all. It was nice, but I want something else. Primarily, the N4 will be a range gun for when I go to a couple of places that have CQB shoothouses. Also I suppose for home defense or something, but that's kind of a weak answer, a pistol or a shotgun would do an effective job pulling HD duty. Mostly just because I want it.
I like the sound of an SBR with a KX3, it has kind of a gutteral sound to it that nothing else has. Eventually, I plan on getting a can for it, so the KX3 would get tossed for either an AAC or Surefire QD suppressor. They're just toys. Stuff I want "just because".

Ahh. Have you used the KX3 in a shoothouse? They are pretty rough still.

Yeah, it's loud as ****, but it's ****ing awesome. It gives the sound signature a kind of "twang" or something that a birdcage flash hider doesn't. I can't really describe it, it's the sound. You just have to hear it.

I have heard them before, if those are desirable traits go for it.

Puyallup Fairgrounds used to have a pretty decent gun show every month or two.

you paid $200 to have a nagant chopped to 14.5"? That's retarded.
